The Essential PPE Network Equation

Healthcare Services + Supply Chain + Factories = PPE Success

Healthcare Services

Where do I start?

Start with watching our instructional video. This is the latest update from Jeff on all things related to this project.

I need Masks

We are sorry to inform our health partners that we are at full capacity with our current demand. We can not fill new orders at this time.

If you can’t provide masks, who can?

We are encouraging health professionals to partner with local manufacturers in their community. We have provided all of our design specs above to be shared with everyone.

What materials are you using?

Providence health has provided us with the surgical wrap that they are not using (due to lack of surgeries at the current moment). We are able to cut from that material on masks. As for shields, we are using a vinyl. Please get innovative and problem solve when it comes to getting material for your designs. You do not HAVE to use the same material as us!

How do I partner with someone like Kaas?

Below is a video with the Chief Clinical Officer at Providence Health. Please watch as Amy and Jeff discuss how we were able to make this happen so quickly.

I still have questions

Please scroll to the bottom of the page and submit a request form. This will help us keep track of all of the questions and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Supply Chain

Who do we talk to?

Watch the video to the left to learn how to connect with Factories and Healthcare Services.

I have materials to donate

Get in touch with your local Healthcare Services and Factories. Another idea is get the word out to your community and partner with at-home sewers to make masks.

Factories

Start with watching our instructional video. This is the latest update from Jeff on all things related to this project.

How do I make a mask?

Below is the link to the data/specs for manufacturers. This will take you to our dropbox folder with all of the information that we have on the mask and face shield designs.

What materials should we use?

We are working with providence to gather material. Our advice is to partner with your local healthcare/those requesting PPE and figure out what material they can help you get your hands on. We do not have any to give to the public at this time.

Are you a manufacturer that can help Kaas?

Do you have sewing or cutting capabilities and want to help Kaas locally? Please fill out the form at the bottom of this page.

I still have questions

Please scroll to the bottom of the page and submit a request form. This will help us keep track of all of the questions and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

At-Home Makers

Thank you to all of our volunteers who have come forward to make masks from home. Your efforts are greatly appreciated by our community. Please read through the information below and view the instructional videos/design specs we have provided. We hope that what we have available can help aid you during this time!

I can make masks!

If you have a sewing machine and are home bound, you can help too. The design specs and a tutorial video are below!

How do I source material?

Unfortunately, we can not help you source your material. What we do know is that Providence was able to source us with surgical wrap to make masks. Please do your research and speak to the places that you will be sharing masks with. They should be the ones telling you what materials to use.

Where do I bring my masks?

Please work with your local healthcare facilities and coordinate a drop off. We can not help with deliveries from homes. Thank you!

The American Hospital Association did a wonderful job organizing information on these efforts. Please visit https://www.aha.org/100millionmasks. There are instructions for at-home makers, manufacturers, and healthcare systems. Please utilize this amazing resource to help keep our people safe.

How Can I Help Kaas?

Please review above directions for local manufacturers and at home makers. If you want to offer other capabilities, or you see a partnership being possible, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page.

How can I contribute financially?

Thank you for being willing to help in this capacity. Many are looking for ways they can help us – even while being stuck at home! There is a donation being coordinated by providence for their caregivers and mask making endeavors. You can find the link with more information here: https://www.providence.org/lp/100m-masks.

Can you help me source material?

At this time, we can’t help source material. We partnered with Providence to get us the material we need. We recommend for you to find local health providers that can help you with finding your sources. Sorry we couldn’t be more helpful on this!

Are those materials being sanitized before use?

Yes! We are sending each item through the sanitization process laid out by Providence Health at their designated partners.

What are you doing to keep your employees safe and healthy?

We appreciate the community concern over our people. The team is doing everything in their power to ensure the safety of our employees.
– Each morning, every employee and guest “scrubs in” to work
– We check each guest/employees temperature upon arriving to the facility
– We interview each employee upon arrival to ensure good health
– Daily and hourly bleach scrub washes of the facility
– Stations are spread out as much as we can within the space
