We started our Kaas Field Day program with a team from Nordstrom in order to help their teams better understand what work with less waste looks and feels like.
Through our own experience with lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and “The Toyota Way,” we’ve learned that reducing waste happens when we continually improve together. Continuous improvement as a culture is not a system or a method, not a collection of tools or materials you can purchase, and not a certification. It’s a commitment from leadership to their staff, their customers, their suppliers, and their community to stop creating waste and start creating value.
Where: The Treehouse
12978 Beverly Park Rd.

How many: We recommend that the first day consists of core leadership teams, with group sizes of 18-30.

Frequently Asked Questions
About half of each of our tour experiences are spent walking around the shop floor. The second half of the tours are spent over in our treehouse learning space discussing and going through various team building exercises. There will be time to sit and rest, but a lot of the day is spent up and around the factory.
