Who is this information for?

As the need for Personal Protective Equipment increases, many of you have reached out for further instructions to help. The following page is designed to help aid you in your endeavors. Please watch the video below to get started. After watching this video, you can identify who you are in the “PPE Equation” and read more below about how to proceed. We hope that this information is helpful to you!

The Essential PPE Network Equation

Healthcare Services + Supply Chain + Factories = PPE Success

Healthcare Services

Where do I start?

Start with watching our instructional video. This is the latest update from Jeff on all things related to this project.

What materials are you using?

Providence health has provided us with the surgical wrap that they are not using (due to lack of surgeries at the current moment). We are able to cut from that material on masks. As for shields, we are using a vinyl. Please get innovative and problem solve when it comes to getting material for your designs. You do not HAVE to use the same material as us!

How do I partner with someone like Kaas?

You will need to network to find manufacturers to help you. Who in your local region could be a good fit to join the fight?

Who do we talk to?

Watch the video to the left to learn how to connect with Factories and Healthcare Services.

I have materials to donate

Get in touch with your local Healthcare Services and Factories. Another idea is get the word out to your community and partner with at-home sewers to make masks.

Where do I start?

Start with watching our instructional video at the top of this page. This is the latest update from Jeff on all things related to this project.

How do I make a mask?

Below is the link to the data/specs for manufacturers. This will take you to our dropbox folder with all of the information that we have on the mask and face shield designs.

What materials should we use?

We are working with providence to gather material. Our advice is to partner with your local healthcare/those requesting PPE and figure out what material they can help you get your hands on. We do not have any to give to the public at this time.

Are you a manufacturer that can help Kaas?

Do you have sewing or cutting capabilities and want to help Kaas locally? Please fill out the form at the bottom of this page.

At-Home Makers

Thank you to all of our volunteers who have come forward to make masks from home. Your efforts are greatly appreciated by our community. Please read through the information below and view the instructional videos/design specs we have provided. We hope that what we have available can help aid you during this time!

I can make masks!

If you have a sewing machine and are home bound, you can help too. The design specs and a tutorial video are below!

How do I source material?

Unfortunately, we can not help you source your material. What we do know is that Providence was able to source us with surgical wrap to make masks. Please do your research and speak to the places that you will be sharing masks with. They should be the ones telling you what materials to use.

Where do I bring my masks?

Please work with your local healthcare facilities and coordinate a drop off. We can not help with deliveries from homes. Thank you!
